Why We Built the Wetsuit Exchange

Cold-water surfers go through wetsuits. Even the good ones eventually wear out. The problem is that most wetsuits aren’t recyclable through normal channels, so they end up sitting around or getting thrown away.

We built the exchange for three simple reasons:

How the Exchange Works

Step 1: Purchase the Wetsuit Exchange

Add the Wetsuit Exchange to your cart and check out. This covers the processing and recycling of your old suit.

Step 2: Send Us Your Old Wetsuit

Once your order is complete, you’ll receive instructions on where to send your old wetsuit.
Any brand. Any condition. One suit per exchange.

If it kept you warm once, we’ll take it.

Step 3: We Recycle It Responsibly

Your old suit is recycled through proper channels to keep neoprene out of landfills and give the material a second life.

Step 4: Get Your Credit

After your suit is received and processed, we’ll email you a unique credit code to use toward a new Crooked wetsuit.
